The Counselor & Coach - Certified Partner Trauma Therapist

I approach the therapeutic relationship with curiosity and humility; learning as much from my clients as they learn from me. I utilize a skilled psychoeducational approach to counseling, along with a spirit of coaching and encouragement. I will be your biggest cheerleader, as well as someone who can sit quietly with you in your pain. You can expect to meet with someone who is real and relatable, and able to deliver "Come to Jesus" truths if that seems best for you. If you desire, I will bring prayer and Scripture into our sessions. If you've experienced trauma, are battling with addiction (yours or someone else's), feeling anxious, struggling in your relationships, or simply not experiencing joy and purpose in your life -- biblical counseling can be of great help. I'm passionate about helping marriages thrive and individuals heal. Having your story heard, your feelings validated, and your thoughts and patterns examined, brings new insight and change that your future self will thank you for. I specialize in helping individuals and couples impacted by sex and porn addiction. I also help those who do not fall into that category at all. I teach my clients DBT skills, heal trauma with Lifespan Integration, utilize Gottman's Method for couples, and much more. My clients often receive at-home assignments to help maximize their growth and healing process. As a follower of Christ, I recognize the invaluable worth and purpose you were created with, and because of this, I've worked with people from all walks of life and belief systems. I admire the fact that you are courageous enough to ask for help and to pursue growth, because it isn't easy! But if we give it our best effort, it can be so worth it. On a personal note -- When I'm not helping people, you can expect to find my husband and I with dirt under our fingernails, hay on our clothes, and conversing with our goats, mini-donkeys, chickens, or dogs. If I'm not outside, I'm likely channeling my wannabe inner-Joanna Gaines through a love of interior design, cooking, or hosting friends and family on our quaint little farm.
